Description:
The State of Oregon, acting through its Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), is requesting applications from community-based organizations (CBOs) that operate in the state of Oregon. The OHA will provide funding to achieve specific health outcomes and improve community well-being using local solutions. The grant period is anticipated to be 1.5 years with the option to renew up to a cumulative maximum of 5 years. Initial awards are intended to be between $25,000 and $300,000 per funded program area, with total funds not to exceed $750,000 per applicant. • The grant will support public health priorities, including Environmental Public Health, Preventing Environmental Exposures for Children's Health, Domestic Wells, Communicable Disease Prevention, Commercial Tobacco Prevention, Immunizations, Overdose Prevention, Adolescent and School Health, Community Resilience Community Connection and Empowerment, and Community Resilience Emergency Preparedness and Response. • Applicants must be community-based organizations that operate in the state of Oregon. • The application process includes submitting an application, which will be evaluated based on factors such as the applicant's experience, capacity, and proposed budget. • The OHA may award additional funds to support current or new public health priorities if they become available at a future date.
