The United States Army is seeking a contractor to provide shop towel rental and laundering services for the Rhode Island Army National Guard Combined Support Maintenance Shop. The contractor will be responsible for delivering clean towels and picking up soiled ones on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on the determined frequency. The towels must be made of absorbent material and be free of excessive grease, oil, solvents, or debris. The contractor will also be responsible for providing an initial inventory of towels and replacing any unserviceable ones. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months with four optional 12-month periods. • The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the services. • The contractor must ensure that all towels are clean, dry, and free of excessive grease, oil, solvents, or debris. • The contractor must provide an initial inventory of 1,000 or 500 shop towels, depending on the determined delivery frequency. • The contractor must pick up and deliver shop towels on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on the determined frequency. • The contractor must ensure that all contractor employees comply with all regulations and orders of the installation.
