Description:
St. Charles County Government is seeking bids for Exterior and Interior Window Cleaning of County buildings. The proposed Window Cleaning shall meet the requirements of the Facilities Management Department of St. Charles County Government. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to 4 additional 12-month periods. The bidder must provide proof of compliance with the Missouri Domestic Products Procurement Act. • The contract requires the cleaning of exterior and interior windows at various County buildings. • The bidder must comply with all Federal and State Employment/Labor regulations. • The bidder must provide all applicable Insurance Certificates to the County upon award of the bid. • The bidder must specifically claim and include any exclusions or deviations from the bid specifications with the proposal submitted. • Windows are considered clean when all glass, frame, and sill surfaces are without streaks, film, staining, deposits, or debris, and have a uniform bright appearance. • The County may restrict the use of any methods and products that may cause damage to building surfaces or finishes or harm to surrounding environments. • The bidder must take reasonable precautions to protect all adjacent improvements from cleaning activities. • The contract requires the bidder to inspect, photo document, and immediately report to the County any damaged or compromised work surfaces found prior to cleaning or caused by contractor personnel. • Repairs for damage caused by contractor personnel shall be coordinated by the County and billed directly to and paid by the contractor. • The bidder must comply with the Prevailing Wage Law under Annual Wage Order #32, as of June 26, 2025, for this project. • The bidder must provide a key contact for the project, who shall notify the County Project Manager when the bidder will be performing work. • The bidder must notify the project manager of any deficiencies that may impact project cost. • The contract requires the bidder to provide a Certificate of Insurance evidencing the required coverage(s) together with a copy of the required endorsements prior to the commencement of any work.
