The City of San Mateo is seeking a qualified firm to provide ballot measure consulting services. The selected firm will assist the City in evaluating the feasibility of a November 2026 ballot measure, developing a revenue measure that aligns with community priorities, and educating and informing the community throughout the process. The scope of services includes feasibility assessment, ballot measure development, and public information to raise awareness and educate the community. The firm will be required to submit a proposal that includes a detailed description of their approach, project schedule, and timeline, as well as their experience and qualifications. • The City is in the process of evaluating the feasibility of a November 2026 ballot measure. • The selected firm will assist the City in developing a revenue measure that aligns with community priorities. • The firm will be required to provide educational and informational services to the community. • The City reserves the right to cancel the RFP or reject any and all responses. • The evaluation criteria include quality and completeness of proposal, project cost, quality of proposed services, and ability and experience of team members.
