The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a consultant to provide on-call Value Engineering (VE) studies. The consultant will conduct a systematic review and analysis of projects during the concept and design phases to provide recommendations for improving the value and quality of the project, reducing the time to complete the project, and providing the needed functions safely, reliably, efficiently, and at the lowest overall cost. The consultant must be prequalified by GDOT in the area classes listed, including Value Engineering (VE), Rural Roadway Design, Urban Roadway Design, and others. The anticipated schedule includes an RFQ issuance date of June 23, 2025, and a statement of qualifications due date of July 25, 2025. • The Prime Consultant MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below: • The Team (either the Prime Consultant and/or one or more of their sub-consultant team members) MUST be prequalified by GDOT in the area class(es) listed below: • Anticipated Key Team Leaders include Roadway Team Leader, Structure Team Leader, Traffic Team Leader, and Construction Team Leader.
