The West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide surveying services to support the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program (WSLIP). The scope of work includes real estate acquisitions, survey and delineate sites for borrow-fill material, mapping existing easements and utilities, and title research. The selected contractor will be required to work cooperatively with WSAFCA's project partners, including the State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). • The contractor will be responsible for reviewing and confirming existing base map property boundaries, monuments, encumbrances, and easements. • The contractor will develop a monument map and plan, and verify survey monuments used for property boundaries. • The contractor will prepare a real estate map exhibit for each parcel in the project, showing ownership, APN, existing easements, and levee alignment and footprint. • The contractor will draft a legal description and map exhibit (plat) for the acquisition area, meeting DWR Geomatics Standards. • The contractor may be required to prepare a Record of Survey for the project, to be reviewed and approved by DWR Geomatics Branch prior to being recorded with Yolo County.
