Description:
The US Army is seeking white papers for the C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) Mounted Form Factor (CMFF) Project Manager Tactical Radios (PM TR) project. The project aims to develop a suite of modular open systems based on CMOSS, which will reduce the Size, Weight, and Power-Cooling (SWaP-C) burden on current and future platforms. The CMFF system will use the OpenVPX chassis and will include replacements for traditional mission equipment on OpenVPX cards. The system will also use the Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) standard to provide network-based interoperability and the Modular Open Radio Frequency (RF) Architecture (MORA) for functional decomposition. The white paper should focus on one or more of the four Problem Areas (PAs) listed: multi-waveform digital SDR card, cryptographic subsystem (CSS) card, digital radiohead (DRH), and VICTORY audio adapter. • The CMFF system will use the OpenVPX chassis and will include replacements for traditional mission equipment on OpenVPX cards. • The system will use the Vehicular Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) standard to provide network-based interoperability. • The system will use the Modular Open Radio Frequency (RF) Architecture (MORA) for functional decomposition. • The white paper should focus on one or more of the four Problem Areas (PAs) listed.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate because the document does not specify a budget or a budget amount. However, based on the complexity of the project and the fact that it involves the development of modular open systems for the US Army, it is likely that the budget will be in the millions of dollars. The budget may be influenced by factors such as the number of vendors that respond to the white paper, the quality of the proposals, and the Army's budget for the project.
