The Defense Health Agency is seeking business firms to provide all services, materials, and equipment necessary for all preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance services on designated government-owned Draeger Anesthesia Machines located at U.S. Naval Hospital Naples, Italy. The contractor shall provide two scheduled preventive maintenance visits per year, technical support via an English-speaking service technician, and unlimited on-site corrective repairs during normal business hours. The contractor shall also provide replacement parts, technical modifications, working hours, and travel necessary to maintain the machines in proper operating condition. Key points to consider: • The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. • The contractor shall perform to the standards in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). • The period of performance includes a base period of 12 months, followed by four 12-month option periods, for a total of 60 months. • The contract type would be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) if an award would result from a subsequent solicitation.
