Description:
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking bids for highway milling services in Queen Anne's County. The contractor will provide a front-loading milling machine with an operator to perform site-specific paving reconstruction. The machine must be capable of milling existing pavement to a depth of no less than 2 inches with a 6.5-foot single pass. The contractor will be paid for time at the worksite, plus a one-time travel expense. All cost components, including fuel, labor, and overhead, shall be included in the machine time per hour. • The contractor must be able to haul their own milling machine to the worksite on a trailer, offload, and provide all necessary equipment and personnel. • The contractor must respond within five working days of notification for routine scheduled work. • The contractor's operations shall conform to all applicable state and local regulations. • The contract duration is 6 months or until quantities are exhausted. • The primary place of performance is the MDOT SHA Centreville Shop, 111 Safety Dr, Centreville, MD 21617.
