The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Legionella water testing services for the San Francisco VA Healthcare System. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, parts, tools, supplies, management, transportation, and other items necessary to provide Legionella testing services for 120 samples per quarter. The contract will be for a base period of one year with four option years. The contractor must have at least two years of experience conducting water sampling for Legionella and Reverse Osmosis systems. • The contractor will be responsible for collecting and testing water samples from various locations, including the San Francisco VA Medical Center and transitional homes. • The contractor must utilize a lab certified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Legionella Isolation Techniques Evaluation (ELITE) program. • The contractor will be required to provide a primary point of contact who will be responsible for the delivery and performance of the work. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide certificates, licenses, training, and permits necessary for performance of the services.
