The Putnam County School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide furniture, delivery, and installation services for multiple school facilities. The contract will cover furniture services for the Palatka Primary School and Melrose Elementary School projects, and may be used for other construction phases and renovation projects after the new-build schools are completed. The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supervision, planning, and services to supply, deliver, and set up furniture at Putnam County School District locations. The scope of work includes furniture procurement, project coordination, delivery and logistics, installation services, punch-out and corrections, and contract use. The district is looking for a vendor with at least five years of experience providing furniture procurement, delivery, and installation services for K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, or similar public-sector facilities. • The vendor must demonstrate the ability to deliver effective project management and staffing, including a designated project manager and sufficient personnel to coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation activities. • The vendor must show proven experience in providing furniture installation services, including assembly and placement in accordance with manufacturer specifications, coordination of installation crews or qualified subcontractors, and complete installations within specified deadlines and project schedules. • The vendor must demonstrate experience managing logistics for school facilities, including freight coordination and carrier management, scheduling deliveries according to school access, security, and operational requirements, and managing accessorial services such as liftgate, limited-access, or live-load deliveries. • The vendor must provide furniture from multiple manufacturers and coordinate procurement across various product lines, finishes, and lead times to meet district needs. • The vendor must demonstrate sufficient financial stability to perform the required services and possess all licenses, registrations, and permits needed to conduct business in the State of Florida.
