The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to pack, move, and store materials from the Larchmont Branch Library. The library will undergo a major repair and renovation project that is estimated to last between 8 months and 1 year. The contractor shall remove the contents of the library building, store them in a climate-controlled storage facility for up to 1 year, and move the items back to the library building after the renovation is completed. The contractor will be responsible for providing a plan to keep materials safe and organized during the moves, providing a climate-controlled storage facility, and storing the materials for a period of not less than 6 months but must be able to extend storage to 12 months on a month-by-month basis.
