Description:
The U.S. Army Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires is seeking solutions for the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML) Autonomous Mobility Platform (AMP) Prototype, Leader Prototype, Autonomy Command and Control (C2) and Integration. The CAML system is an autonomous/optionally crewed, highly mobile, air transportable, multi-domain fires launcher with the potential to augment or replace existing Army launchers. The system consists of a CAML Leader and CAML Follower, connected by an Autonomy Command and Control (C2) system. The CAML Leader is a crewed convoy vehicle capable of leading CAML Followers via an integrated autonomy leader kit. The CAML Follower consists of an Autonomous Mobility Platform (AMP) vehicle and a weapon-specific Munition Pallet (MP) variant. Key features of the CAML system include: * Autonomous Self-Resupplying System (ASRS) that can resupply MPs with minimal to no human intervention * Load Handling System (LHS) capable of autonomously resupplying an MP weighing up to 60,000 lbs * Ability to integrate Government Furnished Property into the best technical solution for the autonomous CAML Leader and Follower * Facilities/equipment available to carry out the proposed prototype effort and to be positioned to fabricate additional quantities * Development approach and schedule for logical sequencing and achievability of the PWS operational assessments * Ability to demonstrate sufficient understanding of the autonomous system operations The solution brief should address the technical approach, qualifications and experience, and ROM price. The technical approach should demonstrate a holistic understanding of the problem, including risk and opportunities. The qualifications and experience should highlight prior or current work related to integrating missiles and command and control systems into autonomous weapon systems. The ROM price should be realistic to meet the PWS and schedule requirements, and aligned with the proposed technical approach.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the millions of dollars, given the complexity and scope of the CAML system. The exact amount will depend on the specific solution proposed and the requirements of the U.S. Army. However, based on the information provided, it is estimated that the budget could be in the range of $10 million to $50 million. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the cost of developing and integrating the autonomous systems, the cost of testing and demonstrating the system, and the cost of producing and delivering the final product.
