Description:
The Naval Air Forces, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (CNAL) is seeking information from qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in support of the Director of Aviation Support Equipment (SE) (N423B). The scope of work includes providing technical services, asset management, calibration, cyclic rework, and SE installations/removals for ships undergoing maintenance. The contractor will also provide knowledge and expertise on information management systems related to aviation SE, test benches, and Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL). • Provide management and technical expertise for twenty-seven Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMAs), eleven aircraft carriers, and nine L-Class ships. • Align and manage SE in support of Ready for Tasking (RFT) and Core Competent Units. • Assist in preparing for and sustaining support of flight operations during the Fleet Readiness Training Plan (FRTP), deployment, and sustainment. • Provide proactive and responsive technical and logistic support to Fleet activities to resolve and prevent various Type Model Series (TMS) support equipment-related issues. • Maintain knowledge and evaluate the adequacy of SE resources and logistics support elements available to ensure the highest possible degree of material readiness.
