The Runway Safety Area Improvements Project involves the excavation of existing material and grading along the edges of pavement bordering the infield areas between Runway 14/32 and Taxiway A to improve drainage, and placing crushed aggregate rock to prevent soil erosion from storm events. The project includes a base bid for the infield areas adjacent to Taxiway A2, as well as a bid alternate for the infield areas adjacent to Taxiways A1, A4, and the remaining area between Taxiways A2 and A3. The project requires the excavation of existing material, grading, and placement of crushed aggregate rock.
