The Town of Mooresville is seeking to obtain qualifications from vendors to be under contract for use on an as-needed basis for transmission repair/rebuild services for Town assets. Multiple vendors may be selected. The selected vendor(s) must meet the following specifications: provide diagnostic services, repairs, and complete rebuilds for vehicle transmissions, with preference given to local businesses with a facility located within a six-mile radius of the Town’s Operations and Fleet building. All work performed must be backed by a warranty covering both labor and parts. • The vendor must provide quotes for work on a 2024 Ford Explorer PPV, 3.0L, equipped with a 10R80 10-speed transmission, based on the following service scenarios: diagnosing the driver’s complaint regarding shifting issues, complete transmission rebuild, and diagnosing the driver’s complaint regarding shuttering. • The vendor must provide a current COI listing the Town of Mooresville as the certificate holder. • The vendor must provide a completed Authorized Signatory Form. • The vendor must provide three references and their accounts payable contact information and remit to address. • The vendor must provide their NC Secretary of State ID (Business registration with the state is required to do business with the Town).
