Description:
The Employment and Training Pathways Program (ETPP) aims to develop and implement projects that accelerate pathways to employment for populations facing significant employment barriers into high-demand occupations for good-quality jobs. The program will develop skill-based pathways by integrating education and workforce training programs to align with the specific needs of California's highest-needs populations. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, public agencies, tribal governments, and community colleges. The program requires a minimum of 20% leverage of funds or services from other sources. • The program seeks to expand access to high-quality, career-connected learning opportunities for Californians' English Language Learners (ELLs), justice-involved individuals, opportunity young adults (OYA), and veterans who face systemic barriers to employment. • The program encourages applicants to braid funds, leverage human capital, and utilize other resources to maximize the success of the project. • The total estimated available funding for the program is $16,300,000, with an expected award amount of $500,000 to $2,000,000 per award.
