Description:
The Romulus Community Schools is seeking a qualified vendor to provide, install, configure, and commission upgraded video intercom and access control systems across multiple district facilities. The project aims to ensure a secure, modern, and standardized visitor management and door access solution that integrates with the District’s existing security infrastructure. The selected vendor will be responsible for furnishing and installing IP video door intercoms and master stations, integrating all intercom video feeds with Avigilon ACC VMS, providing all required cabling, programming door release functionality, and coordinating with District IT and Security staff. Some key requirements and scope of work include: • Replacing legacy intercom systems with IP-based video intercoms • Integrating video feeds into the existing Avigilon ACC Video Management System • Expanding and enhancing door access control functionality • Improving front office visibility, communication, and control • Ensuring system reliability, security, and long-term supportability • Providing all labor, materials, programming, testing, and documentation necessary to complete the work • Coordinating with District IT and Security staff • Testing all systems and providing staff orientation
