The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking a consultant to provide construction management services for the Headworks Improvements at the Oakwood Beach Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility. The project involves replacing six bar screens and associated components, influent slide gates, main sewage pumps, and associated piping/valves and motor control center, as well as replacing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment. The consultant will lead the construction management services, including replacing submersible main sewage pumps, installing bar screen influent slide gates, and modifying the bar screen channel. The project is expected to start in February 2026 and last for 1889 consecutive calendar days. • The consultant must have experience in construction management and be authorized to practice engineering in the State of New York. • The consultant must provide a Certificate of Authorization to provide Professional Engineering Services in New York State. • The consultant must comply with the requirements of the State Revolving Fund Program and make documented good faith efforts to utilize at least 20% of the dollar value of the contract for combined utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). • The consultant must comply with Local Law 34 of 2007 and provide information to individuals about how they can obtain various forms of City, State, and Federal government-issued identification.
