The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide a 70-ton crane with a licensed operator for a one-day lift on July 24th, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and personnel to lift a structure. The lift will require a 70-ton crane with a boom that can extend at least 60ft, and the contractor must provide a certified crane operator and rigger. The contractor will also need to provide lifting slings and shackles. • The lift will be performed on the Center Wing of an aircraft. • The lifting points are spaced 3ft apart (4 separate) and are directly above the canted deck. • The Center of Gravity is directly below the lifting point on the canted deck. • A sling will be provided by the 71st that connects to all lifting points.
