Description:
The US Army is seeking a contractor to provide 64 light towers for a period of 43 days at Fort Irwin, CA. The light towers must be equipped with a towing pintle capable of being attached to a standard military High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) and must have a light output of at least 4,000 Lumens. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, setting up, maintaining, and removing the light towers. The contractor must also provide 24-hour services and be capable of making a light set solution operational within 8 hours of a service call. Key requirements include: • Providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for the light towers • Ensuring the light towers are compatible with Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel • Labeling equipment with "Diesel Fuel Only" if applicable • Providing a full tank of fuel or fully charged solar equipment at delivery • Maintaining a 24-hour service capability • Having a company representative on call to respond to maintenance requests • Providing pre- and post-inspection/acceptance sheets for equipment
