The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a sole-source contract to Thermwood Corporation for on-site preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments as required to restore two Thermwood 5-Axis Routers to full Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications. The contract requires the contractor to provide annual preventative maintenance services, including inspections, cleaning, realigning, testing, and ensuring the equipment is functioning properly. The contractor must be an authorized distributor or repair service for Thermwood equipment and ensure the necessary employee level of expertise for performance of the deliverables. • The contractor shall provide all services to inspect, clean, re-align, test, and ensure the equipment is functioning properly. • The contractor shall provide minor repairs and adjustments as required to restore the unit to full Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications. • The preventive maintenance will include performing alignments, checking bearing and rails for damage, tuning servomotor and amps, squaring and leveling the X, Y, and Z-Axis, checking lash and repeatability in all Axis, greasing and oiling all points of the machine, and making sure all electronic components are functioning properly. • The contractor shall provide a Preventative Maintenance Report within five business days after completion of the maintenance service.
