Description:
The State of New Jersey is seeking a contractor to conduct utilization reviews, quality of care audits, and Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) validation audits of inpatient hospital services provided to NJ FamilyCare clients. The contractor will be required to audit medical records against approved historical claim data extracted from the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) claims processing system for Fee-For-Service (FFS) and Encounter Claims. The contract term is expected to be 48 months. • Utilization review and quality of care audits will be performed on inpatient hospital services provided to NJ FamilyCare clients. • The contractor will be required to audit medical records against approved historical claim data extracted from the MMIS claims processing system. • The contract term is expected to be 48 months. • The contractor will be required to submit a technical quote, management overview, and other documents as part of the proposal. • The state reserves the right to award any or all price lines. • The contract will include a subcontracting set-aside for small businesses and disabled veteran-owned businesses.
