The City of Pomona is seeking bids for the substantial rehabilitation of a 12-unit apartment building located at 252 E 4th Street, Pomona, CA. The project involves upgrades or replacement to create fully functional, habitable units of electrical, plumbing, lighting, bathroom, kitchens, heating and air, interior finishes, and exterior improvements. The scope of work includes building exterior improvements, paint, landscaping, ADA access improvements, installation of fencing, roof repair, trash enclosures, and structural and/or seismic upgrades. • The project requires a general contractor with experience in similar projects. • The contractor must provide 24-hour security of the premises to protect work and existing facilities from unauthorized entry, vandalism, or theft throughout the duration of the project. • The contractor must break down the bid according to labor, materials, profit, and overhead, and subcontracts. • The contractor must submit invoices for completed work with material receipts attached. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local building, fire, safety, and electrical codes and industry standards.
