Description:
The Undergraduate Jet Training System (UJTS) program is a continuation of on-going market research conducted by the Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command. The program aims to provide intermediate and advanced training for undergraduate USN and USMC jet aviators and flight officers. The UJTS program has two overarching goals: Speed to Initial Operational Capability (IOC) and Quality of Training. The Government is seeking industry input on various aspects of the program, including the Draft GBTS WSS, Draft Air Vehicle WSS, and Draft EMD SOW. The program is on an accelerated procurement timeline, with a projected Contract Award in January 2027. • The UJTS program will replace the T-45 Combined Multi-Service Pilot Training System. • The program will include the procurement of the first lot of Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) aircraft and simulators. • The Government is seeking industry input on digital engineering, software delivery methods, and data transfer. • The program will have a maintenance concept aligned with other CNATRA programs. • The Government will conduct in-person one-on-ones with interested parties to answer questions about the GBTS WSS and the Draft EMD SOW.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$100,000,000 – $500,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or contract value. However, considering the scope of the UJTS program, which includes the procurement of aircraft and related systems, the budget could be substantial. The Government has mentioned that the program is on an accelerated procurement timeline, with a projected Contract Award in January 2027. Based on this information, it is possible that the budget could be in the range of $100 million to $500 million. The actual budget will depend on various factors, including the specific requirements of the program, the number of contractors involved, and the duration of the contract.
