The City of Springfield is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist in producing Neighborhood Plans for the City’s registered neighborhood associations. The intent is to analyze current development patterns, identify opportunities for and develop a strategy to guide and promote future development, and identify improvement projects within the neighborhoods. These plans will be concise, targeted plans at the neighborhood level that support and implement the overall vision and goals of Forward SGF, the City’s Comprehensive Plan, through an efficient and streamlined planning process. • The plans will analyze current development patterns. • The plans will identify opportunities for and develop a strategy to guide and promote future development. • The plans will identify improvement projects within the neighborhoods.
