Description:
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a contractor to design, manufacture, and ship a Common Guide for the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). The scope of work includes the design and layout of the new guides, manufacturing, and shipping. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the guides meet the technical requirements specified in the Statement of Work and Drawing. The project is expected to last approximately 869 days, from May 25, 2026, to September 30, 2028. • The contractor will be required to submit a technical proposal that demonstrates their understanding of the project requirements and their approach to completing the work. • The contractor will be required to provide a price proposal that includes all costs associated with the project, including design, manufacturing, and shipping. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to nuclear safety and security. • The contractor will be required to provide regular progress reports and to notify the ORNL procurement officer of any issues or concerns that may arise during the project.
