Description:
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for various maintenance stations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, janitorial cleaning supplies, consumables, restroom and kitchen paper supplies, light bulbs, and equipment necessary to provide a clean and sanitary work environment. The contractor must be a certified Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and must register with the Labor Commissioner's Office. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest price quote and meets all the specifications. Some key services include: • Sweeping and dusting floors • Vacuuming carpets • Cleaning restrooms and kitchens • Dusting and polishing surfaces • Emptying trash and recyclables • Providing janitorial supplies and equipment.
