The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential vendors for annual and semi-annual boiler testing and inspection services at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The contractor will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, parts, and related services to maintain steam systems and equipment in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) design. The scope of work includes high- and low-pressure boiler safety device testing and calibration, steam trap and heating loop survey, sterile processing (SPS) steam quality testing, and emergency service. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting of similar size and complexity. Key aspects of the job include: * Annual and semi-annual inspections and testing of boilers and related equipment * Maintenance and repair of steam systems and equipment * Provision of emergency service 24/7 * Development of Standard Operating Procedures for various aspects of boiler operation and maintenance * Compliance with all applicable laws, codes, regulations, and ordinances * Familiarity with relevant references, such as NFPA 85 and VHA Boiler Plant Safety Device Testing Manual
