The City and County of Denver Department of Aviation is seeking a qualified vendor to provide cleaning services at Denver International Airport for the trash/recycling rooms, trash/recycling compactor rooms, waste triturator rooms, and loading dock areas. The vendor will be responsible for providing all equipment, tools, and accessories needed to perform the work, as well as maintaining the required staffing. The contract term is 3 years with two optional 1-year extensions. The proposal must include a proposal narrative, sample agreement, proposal forms, DSBO forms, diversity survey, financial form, and staffing and equipment forms. • The vendor must have at least 2 years of experience in the janitorial industry and 2 years of experience managing a contract in a 24-hour per day, 365 days per year operation. • The vendor must provide a site manager who will oversee the environmental program, manage disciplinary and security programs, and coordinate training of employees. • The vendor must also provide supervisors who will administer the day-to-day responsibilities of the contract. • The contract requires the vendor to maintain a performance and payment bond in the amount of $100,000. • The vendor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, environmental protection, and accessibility.
