• Total funding available: $7,500,000 • Project period: July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 • Purpose: To assist and encourage consolidation of Emergency Telephone System Boards (ETSBs) and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) in Illinois Key requirements/details: 1. Only eligible for government organizations/9-1-1 Authorities (excluding municipalities with population over 500,000) 2. Funds can only be used for NON-RECURRING costs associated with consolidation 3. Priority given to first-time consolidation applicants 4. Must reduce number of PSAPs or 9-1-1 systems 5. Funding NOT allowed for: personnel, benefits, travel, supplies, occupancy, R&D, administrative costs 6. Requires quarterly performance and financial reports 7. Must have approved Consolidation/Modification Plan 8. Must be registered in SAM.gov with valid UEI number 9. No cost sharing/matching required 10. Indirect costs not allowed Evaluation criteria focuses on: - Reducing 9-1-1 call transfers - Reducing infrastructure needs - Promoting cost savings - Facilitating interoperability - Expanding NG9-1-1 service coverage
