The Town of Los Gatos is seeking proposals from qualified plan administrators to provide deferred compensation retirement plan administration, recordkeeping, communication, education, investment management, and custodial trustee services for the Town of Los Gatos 457(b) Plan and 401(a) retirement plan. The selected proposer will be asked to provide input and advice in three primary areas: plan investments, vendor services, and plan design and technical issues. The proposer must have experience with public agency 457(b) plans, a team-based service model, and a strong track record of client satisfaction and retention within the governmental sector. Some key points include: • Providing expert review and analysis regarding plan investments, vendor services, and plan design and technical issues • Drafting an investment policy and evaluating performance results and investment fees • Advising on the prudence of selecting and retaining each investment manager and each investment fund option • Providing customized participant communication materials and local, onsite education services • Meeting at a minimum quarterly with the Town staff to review record keeper and service items • Maintaining any key personnel throughout the entire duration of services
