The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) non-proprietary hearing aid parts and accessories for prescribed customer hearing aids. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year option periods, with a total estimated value of $6.8 million. The contractor will be required to provide an uninterrupted source of supply of various hearing aid parts and accessories, with delivery to be made within 20 business days of receipt of order. The contractor will also be required to provide comprehensive warranty information and to maintain product continuity and usage during times of peak demand. • The contract will be a firm fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract. • The contractor will be required to provide hearing aid parts and accessories for various types of prescription digital hearing aids. • The contractor will be required to comply with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.232-72, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. • The contractor will be required to provide a point of contact for the Denver Logistics Service to initiate the warranty process. • The contractor will be required to maintain product continuity and usage during times of peak demand.
