The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is seeking a qualified firm to design, manufacture, deliver, and install twelve upscale Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs) to support small businesses at the Orlando International Airport. The RMUs should be visually appealing, modern, and reflect the themes of Central Florida, including flora, fauna, water, and wonder. The successful firm will be required to provide a commercial warranty, extended warranty options, and maintenance information. The evaluation criteria include design quality and innovation, price proposal, methodology and approach, warranty, extended warranty, value-added options, maintenance, experience, and qualifications. • The RMUs should be designed to maximize open merchandise/display areas and have adjustable shelves for merchandise displays. • The RMUs should be made of sturdy, fire-rated materials and comply with ADA guidelines and applicable building codes. • The successful firm will be required to provide a detailed plan for the installation of the RMUs, which must occur during overnight hours to minimize disruption to airport operations. • The firm will be required to adhere to the Aviation Authority's tenant construction guidelines and ensure that the area remains aesthetically pleasing after installation. • The firm will be responsible for providing maintenance information, including recommended care and cleaning procedures, a maintenance schedule, and a list of replacement parts and components.
