The SCO Family of Services is seeking a qualified vendor to provide janitorial and maintenance/repair services for two shelter facilities, Flushing Family Shelter and Crotona Inn Shelter, in New York. The contract will be for 30 months, commencing on January 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2028. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing daily janitorial services, including cleaning and sanitizing of all occupied shelter spaces, as well as on-call and scheduled maintenance and repair services. The vendor must have at least five years of experience providing similar services and must meet certain minimum qualifications, including holding all required business licenses and permits and complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • Janitorial services: daily cleaning and sanitizing of all occupied shelter spaces, including common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and sleeping areas • Maintenance and repair services: on-call and scheduled maintenance and repair services, including painting, plastering, minor wall/ceiling repairs, replacement of fixtures, and more • Staffing requirements: the vendor must provide janitorial, maintenance, and repair staff on-site daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including weekends and holidays • Supplies and equipment: the vendor may provide cleaning equipment and consumables, but SCO Family of Services will provide materials required for routine maintenance and repair • General site rules and conduct requirements: all personnel assigned under this contract must adhere to certain rules and conduct requirements, including not engaging in the use or possession of illegal drugs, alcohol, firearms, or explosives while on the premises
