The City of Campbell is seeking a consulting firm to provide Building Plan Check and Building Inspection services on an as-needed basis. The selected firm will work with the Building Official or other designated staff to review plans and documents for code compliance. The scope of services includes plan check services, building inspection services, and other related tasks. The City is looking for a firm with experience in providing similar services to other cities and a solid understanding of the California Building Codes and Campbell's Municipal Code. • The firm will be responsible for performing structural, life safety, accessibility, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, Cal Green, and Energy compliance reviews. • The firm will provide plan check services, including reviewing plans and documents for code compliance. • The firm will provide building inspection services, including conducting site analyses and maintaining records of plans reviews. • The firm will coordinate activities with the City's Permit Technician, Building Official, Building Inspector, or their designee. • The firm will provide continuity of plan check services through project completion. • The firm will be able to perform residential and commercial structural, general building, MEP, Energy, CASp, and OSHPAD III type plan reviews.
