Description:
The Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES is seeking bids for a Virtual Reality Paint Simulator for training students. The simulator should be a standalone, portable system with a face-mounted display, allowing users to interact with 3D representations of objects and simulate spray painting and coating in a fully immersive 3D environment. The system should also provide detailed training insights and track return on investment. Some key features required include: • Real-time simulation progress can be shown on an external monitor and is able to be projected to a TV, Smart Board, or other projector screen • The simulator provides detailed training insights on mil build, transfer efficiency, speed, distance, and angle • The simulator allows students to view a 3D line replay of paint gun movement to see a graph of the distance and speed of individual passes and 3D path lines • The simulator included visual cues for learning for students to correct improper techniques during simulation sessions • The simulator model includes training on HVLP, Airless, and Air-Assisted Airless Painting • The simulator includes customizable courses, lessons, and projects • Equipment delivery, set up and training included
