The US Air Force is soliciting bids for a project to remove and replace carpet and cove base in hallways of Building 20130, excluding the Command Staff hallway and the A-3 area. The project also includes painting the hallways above and below the wooden chair rails, 3 stairwells, door jams, window frames, and handrails, as well as refinishing the hallway wooden chair railings and the wooden handrails and top caps in 3 stairwells. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, coordination, and supervision necessary to accomplish the work. • The project must be completed within 90 workdays. • The contractor must field verify project requirements and obtain approval for submitted materials prior to incorporating them into the work. • The contractor must comply with Federal, AFOTEC, and Kirtland AFB regulations and directives for security, safety, traffic, fire, and personnel clearances. • The contractor must protect adjacent areas with appropriate coverings and clean the job area at the completion of each workday.
