The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking to purchase 14 stretch wrap machines for DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor, HI. The purpose of the amendment is to update the shipping instructions. The shipping instructions include guidelines for small to medium packages, larger shipments, and truckload shipments. The contractor must follow these instructions to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the machines. • The contractor must use Priority Mail with return receipt via APO/FPO for small to medium packages. • The contractor must include the contract number and statement "CONTENTS FOR OFFICIAL USE - EXEMPT FROM CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS" on the outside of the package. • The contractor must palletize, properly pack, mark, and address material advanced to a DLA transshipment activity for surface movement to an OCONUS activity. • The contractor must schedule appointments for transshipments and include the Transportation Control Number (TCN), contract number, and a copy of the order on the outside packaging.
