The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids for grease trap cleaning services for the Louisiana Department of Corrections. The contract will be for an initial period of 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment and vacuum trucks to pump out and dispose of grease and waste material in a legal manner. The service shall be provided during non-peak hours to avoid minimal disruption of meal service. • The contractor must provide a minimum of 2,000-gallon truck tank size and a 3-inch suction hose. • The evacuation should include FOG (fats, oils, and grease), sludge, and any hardened buildup inside the traps. • The contractor shall be responsible for any spills or leaks resulting from the evacuation process. • The service shall be provided in accordance with all local ordinances and State Codes, including LA. Admin. Code 1005 N. 4C Grease Traps. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
