The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction is seeking a Protestant Religious Services Provider to perform the duties of a contract chaplain at Toledo Correctional Institution. The provider will be responsible for conducting weekly protestant worship services, providing religious study/education classes, and offering pastoral care for inmates. The provider will also be required to attend annual religious services meetings, make referrals to inmates for appropriate services, and distribute religious literature. The compensation rate for this position is $22.00 per hour, up to 40 hours per week, with an annual maximum of $45,760.00. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting weekly protestant worship services • Providing religious study/education classes and faith-based programming • Offering pastoral care for inmates, including crisis counseling and grief care • Attending annual religious services meetings • Making referrals to inmates for appropriate services • Distributing religious literature and programming • Assisting the chaplain in duties and programming • Completing monthly report forms for services provided
