The intent of this RFP is to enter into a firm fixed service price agreement for a five-year term for certified on-site and virtual interpreter services, American sign language interpretation, and communication access real-time translation (CART) for Dallas County Courts. The scope of work includes providing specially trained certified interpreters for witnesses, victims, and defendants who understand little or no English or who are deaf or hearing/speech impaired. The services will be used for court proceedings and other out-of-court proceedings. • The contract will be for a five-year term. • The services will be used for Dallas County Courts and other departments such as Health and Human Services, Law Enforcement agencies, and other social services related departments. • The contractor will be required to provide certified interpreters for in-person and virtual hearings, as well as CART services. • The contractor will be required to hold prices for a minimum of 120 days. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the County, considering factors such as price, experience, and qualifications.
