The Project includes upgrades to the headworks, addition of a new tertiary treatment system for phosphorous removal in a new tertiary building, UV disinfection upgrades, and ancillary upgrades including site paving, electrical improvements, and plant water system improvements.This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, §§ 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States. The Work will be substantially complete within 540 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 570 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
