The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Network Contracting Office NCO2 intends to award a sole source contract to Cepheid Inc. for the provision of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Molecular Diagnostic testing on a cost per reportable/test basis. The testing will be performed at several DVA VISN2 south medical centers, including Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Castle Point VA Medical Center, and others. The contract will include the use of government-owned and contractor-provided Cepheid GeneXpert and Infinity instruments, maintenance, reagents, controls, consumables/disposables, and supplementary items required for complete PCR molecular testing.
