The County of Orange, Clerk-Recorder, is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Splunk Professional Services. The selected vendor will provide expert-level Splunk Professional Services to enhance the performance and effectiveness of the SECURE Support team's data analytics framework, with a focus on security, performance monitoring, and operational efficiency. The scope of work includes advisory and consulting services, knowledge objects development and optimization, training and knowledge transfer, data readiness and integration, and time tracking and reporting. The contract will be for a period of 365 days, and the bidder must provide a firm price for the entire contract term. • Ensure continuous and effective use of the Splunk Cloud environment for performance analytics. • Facilitate data readiness and integrity through efficient management of Splunk resources. • Provide expert solutions and guidance on creating, maintaining, and optimizing Splunk knowledge objects. • Support the County with Splunk configuration, maintenance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to enhance operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. • The bidder must have at least 10 years of experience delivering Splunk solutions and providing ongoing Splunk maintenance. • The bidder must have expertise in Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, and related products. • The bidder must have strong proficiency in Search Processing Language (SPL) and complex query creation. • The bidder must have experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for customization and automation. • The bidder must have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure (Linux, Windows), networking, and security protocols. • The bidder must have familiarity with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure) and their integration with Splunk. • The bidder must have relevant certifications in Splunk, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or IT service management.
