The City of Auburn Hills is seeking bids from qualified contractors for complete snow and ice removal services in the Downtown District high-intensity commercial area. The selected contractor will assume complete control and responsibility for all designated areas, ensuring prompt and proper service using appropriate snow and ice removal techniques, equipment, and labor to maintain safe and accessible conditions. The contract will commence in the fall of 2025 and expire in the fall of 2026, with the option to extend for one additional year. • The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in snow and ice removal services. • The contractor must maintain a commercial office with staff available during normal business hours. • The contractor must provide a foreman or manager for the project, who must be approved by the City. • The contractor must provide three business references where similar contracted work has been completed in the past three years. • The contractor must supply adequate information about its experience, employees, and capabilities. • The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide insurance certificates and endorsements as required by the City.
