Description:
The Department of State is conducting market research for a potential contract to provide support activities for the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) program. The program aims to build international peacekeeping capacity worldwide, and the contractor will be responsible for handling support activities in three categories: Academic Course Support, Exercise Support, and Travel Support. The contractor will need to demonstrate experience in coordinating with host nation governments, importing materials and equipment, and completing design-build projects. • The contractor will need to provide support for travel, including airfare, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and incidentals for GARTR participants, SMEs, and support personnel. • The contractor will need to sustain collaboration with key stakeholders, including DOD and its Global Combatant Commands, the UN, and regional organizations. • The contractor will need to support GPOI's programming methodology and integrate other program implementers. • The period of performance shall be for one base year of 12 months and four option years.
