The Socorro Independent School District is seeking a payment processing system for governmental or K-12 education environments, capable of handling 7,000-12,000 transactions per month. The system must support centralized account management with sub-account flexibility across 51 campus locations and 5 departments. Key features include fees and financial transparency, reconciliation and reporting, technology reliability, integration and usability, and compliance and security. The contract term will be for two years with four one-year extension options. • The payment processing system must be able to handle multiple payment methods, including credit cards, cash, and mobile wallets. • The system must have a centralized account structure with routing to sub-accounts for 51 campuses and 5 departments. • The system must have flexible fee structures, including cardholder-paid or district-paid options. • The system must have reporting capabilities, including real-time transaction tracking and automated reconciliation. • The system must be able to create bank deposit slips and support multiple bank accounts and unlimited product categories.
