The City of Perry, Georgia is seeking bids for the construction of the Perry Rozar Park Soccer Fields. The project includes redevelopment of the existing soccer fields, including grading and earthwork, stormwater drainage, subsurface drainage, relocation of existing pavilion building, relocation of existing field lighting, new irrigation system, sodding, and provision of new equipment for the soccer fields. The successful bidder will be required to begin work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within 60 calendar days. • The project requires a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work. • The bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount. • The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. • The contract will be awarded on the basis of the base bid alone. • Progress payments will be made on account of the Contract Price on the basis of Contractor's Applications for Payment submitted once per month.
