The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for the asphalt overlay of the Ross Hollow Campground at Tar Hollow State Park. The project involves overlaying approximately 38,400 square feet of asphalt, milling and filling camping area pads, fixing potholes, and cleaning the area. The work must be completed between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and is expected to be finished by May 29, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The project requires the application of 1.5" of 448 Type 1 surface course asphalt over the entire area. • The contractor must remove old asphalt and apply a leveling course. • The contractor must also fix all potholes and clean the area before applying the asphalt overlay. • The prevailing wage rates for Ross County, Ohio, will apply to this project. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wage, worker safety, and environmental protection.
